Residences Reception

Reception is located in Sir Christopher France House (number 44 on the campus map, attached) and is open 24 hours day, 7 days a week. All guests should report here to check in. Guests will be issued with their key and directed to their room. If you experience any problems during your stay, please visit the Reception in person or contact by phone on extension 2610 (internal) / 020 7882 2610 (external) / +44 20 7882 2610 (international).

Reception staff can assist with any queries you may have regarding your accommodation and local facilities. A number of items to make your stay more comfortable can be hired or purchased from the reception, including fans, hairdryers, toiletry packs, UK electrical adaptor, post cards and umbrellas. It is also possible to book discounted theatre tickets at the Reception.

Check in / Out Times

Rooms will be available for check in on the day of arrival from 2pm onwards and are to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Guests are to report to the Residences Reception in Sir Christopher France House to check in and check out.

Left Luggage

There are limited luggage storage facilities and this is offered to delegates on a 'first come first served' basis on the day of arrival/departure at the Residences Reception at a rate of £2.00 per item. If luggage storage is available it must be picked up by 18:00 hours on the day of arrival/departure. We regret it is not possible to leave it overnight. Please be advised luggage storage is subject to space and is left at the delegates own risk; the College accepts no responsibility in the case of the loss or damage.

Cleaning

Bedrooms will be cleaned on a daily basis Monday to Friday. Bed linen and towels (hand towel and bath towel) will be changed on a weekly basis for guests staying longer than one week.

Catering: Breakfast

Breakfast is served between 07.00 and 10:00, in either ‘The Curve’, ‘Muccis’ or ‘The Hive’. You will be advised where your breakfast will be served when you check in. You will receive meal vouchers for breakfast in your key pack when you check in. A kettle and disposable cups will be provide in the communal kitchens for guests however we do not supply tea/coffee/sugar/milk etc.

Refuse and Recycling

The College is committed to the principle and practice of environmental protection and sustainability. Guests are required to use the appropriate recycling/waste facilities located in each kitchen. Recycling bins are located close to all the residential buildings and guests are asked to take large cardboard boxes, bottles and cans to the recycling bins on a regular basis. The local authority collects the waste on Thursdays.
