Call for demos

CMMR 2012 invites proposals of demonstrations. Demonstrations should present innovative working systems which, if applicable, can be tested by users. Such interaction would not be possible in a technical talk or a poster session.

CMMR 2012 provides a leading international forum to bring together researchers, companies, educators, composers, performers, and others with an interest in music informatics, music technologies and music-based entertainment.

Topics

Demo submissions are encouraged in all areas related to music informatics. In particular, we encourage demo submissions on:

  • Music and emotions (e.g. analysis, retrieval, synthesis, composition, performance, music for images)
  • Augmented musical instruments
  • Fashion and music technology
  • Computational musicology
  • Auditory perception and cognition
  • Virtual reality, augmented reality and human-computer interaction related to music
